Omaha Public Library with the support of the Nebraska Arts Council and the Omaha Community Foundation will host special programming to help motivate creativity among youth in the community. Thanks to a gift provided by the Benjamin T. Zucker Fund, artists-in-residence have created progressive programs available to all ages. Programs are open to the public and free of charge.
Charles B. Washington Branch, 2868 Ames Ave., and No More Empty Pots will host a free cooking demonstration on Saturday, June 23, 1-3 p.m. This is the second demonstration in a quarterly series and all are welcome to attend.

Family Fair, a Juneteenth celebration, on Saturday, June 9, 1-5 p.m. The day
will feature live music, refreshments and family activities.
