Friends of Omaha Public Library sales are held at W. Clarke Swanson Branch, 9101 W. Dodge Rd., every Thursday, 10 a.m.-3 p.m., and the first Saturday of every month, 10 a.m.-6 p.m..
The sale will have all kinds of books. Fiction books are alphabetized to help you find your favorite authors; and nonfiction books, such as history, art, nature, crafts, business, religion, self-help, cookbooks, and more, are categorized by subject area. The children’s area is filled with picture, easy-to-read, chapter, nonfiction and young adult books, along with videos and audio books.
Prices range from $1 to $1.50 for adult books and $.50 to $1 for children’s books, with certain books and materials special priced for more – or less. All profits go directly to support programs and materials that benefit YOUR public library and YOU!
Individuals interested in joining the Friends of Omaha Public Library can purchase a membership starting at $15. For more information about what it means to be a Friend, visit friendsomahalibrary.org.
